Friends and Family Day 2011

On February 19, 2011 Universal Hardware hosted a massive Friends and Family Day. We took this opportunity to relate to our retail customers by making a social event out of discounts, raffles, food & drinks and balloons for the kids.

Customers from all across Belize came to take advantage of our attractive sales which included Ceiling Fans, Shop Vacs, BBQ Grills, Welders, Motorcycles, Lawnmowers, Makita Power Tools, Toolcraft Tools, Shop Tools, Maytag Appliances, Sankey AC Units, Toys, and much much more.

There where two raffles; one at 1:00 PM and one at 6:00 PM. Everybody that shopped at Universal Hardware on that day automatically qualified for the raffle. We feel very pleased that many people from surrounding areas where able to win. A total of 31 items were given away in 23 different raffles. Congratulations to all the winners! The raffle items included Dorcy flashlights, Westinghouse fans and lights, Crescent tool set, Toolcraft tools, Homelite trimmers, Sankey AC Units, Sta-rite water pump, Peak inverters, Beakert Barbwire and Makita driver tools. A big thank you to all the suppliers that contributed by participating in the raffle.

A food court had been setup under two big tents where a variety of local foods was available from ten different food vendors. We appreciate the effort of the local food vendors to make delicious foods available like burgers, tacos, fajitas, pork chops and much more. Ice cream was sold in one booth while in the next booth Universal Hardware gave away free drinks to all the thirsty shoppers.

Thank you to all the customers that came out and made Friends and Family Day 2011 a huge success. Thank you Makita and True Value for coming to Belize and actively participating in the event, your personal interest is very valuable to us.
